Year 1 Blooms at Hardwick Park
Year 1 pupils from St Paul's Catholic Primary School in Billingham enjoyed a fantastic day at Hardwick Park as part of the Summer in Bloom workshop. Throughout the visit, the children learned all about the life cycle of a seed and investigated a variety of seeds, plants and trees. They also became nature explorers, taking part in a plant hunt around the park and identifying different species growing in the natural environment.

Through hard work, creativity, teamwork and determination, the pupils created and ran their own mini businesses, generating an impressive £900.02 profit.

Celebrating Creativity at St Paul’s
St Paul’s Catholic Primary School in Billingham is proud to celebrate outstanding creative success after taking part in the Stockton Council ‘Stones That Speak’ poetry illustration competition. The competition attracted an impressive 383 entries, showcasing creativity from across the local area. From these, just 17 winners were selected, making it a remarkable achievement that two St Paul’s pupils were chosen.
Year 4 Enjoy Creative Storytelling Trip to Durham
Year 4 pupils at St Paul’s Catholic Primary School in Billingham recently enjoyed an exciting and imaginative school trip to Two Tales in Durham. During their visit, the children took part in a creative storytelling workshop based on the well-known local legend of the Lambton Worm. Through interactive activities, pupils explored the story in an engaging and memorable way, deepening their understanding of local heritage.
Young Entrepreneurs in Action: Year 6 Launch the Fiver Challenge
Our Year 6 pupils at St Paul’s Catholic Primary School have officially launched their exciting Fiver Challenge 2026 — and we can’t wait to see where their ideas take them! Each pupil has been given £5 of start‑up capital to create and run their very own mini business over the coming weeks. From brainstorming ideas to managing budgets, this challenge gives children a real taste of enterprise and entrepreneurship.
