At St. Paul’s Catholic Primary School, our amazing Year 1 learners jumped headfirst into the fascinating world of science thanks to the STEM-in-a-Box programme – an innovative initiative developed in partnership between Greenergy and Delight.

Designed especially for primary schools, STEM-in-a-Box brought science to life through hands-on experiments, practical lessons, and exciting discoveries that sparked curiosity and ignited a love for STEM. From exploring different materials and testing textures to investigating which materials are waterproof, our young scientists asked BIG questions about the world around them. We are so proud to nurture the next generation of innovators, scientists, and problem-solvers!

Meanwhile, Year 5 enjoyed an incredible day of discovery with Hope from Greenergy and the STEM-in-a-Box project. They applied their knowledge of materials by following some of the real processes Greenergy uses to create biofuel at their Billingham plant. What an amazing way to see science in action and understand how STEM shapes our future!
