Welcome To St Paul’s School

A very warm welcome to St Paul’s Catholic Primary School.

St Paul’s is a popular, inclusive and happy Catholic school with an excellent reputation. Our Mission Statement — “In Him we live and move and have our being.” — guides everything we do, shaping a community where every child is nurtured, challenged and supported to flourish.

We have a talented and dedicated staff team who work tirelessly to provide a rich, ambitious and knowledge‑led curriculum. Our SENDCo and teachers ensure that all children access high‑quality learning, supported where needed by strong partnerships with external professionals. Alongside academic excellence, we place great importance on pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.

Children’s wellbeing is central to our mission. As a Thrive school, we prioritise emotional health and relationships, ensuring pupils feel safe, valued and ready to learn. Our Forest School provision further enhances learning, promotes resilience and connects children with the natural world.

We are proud of our strong outcomes, which are usually above national averages, and of our award of the AfPE Quality Mark with Distinction for excellence in PE, sport and physical activity. Subject leaders work in partnership with local Hubs and provide high‑quality professional development across school, continually strengthening teaching and learning.

To support families, we offer high‑quality wraparound care from 7.30am to 5.30pm, alongside 30‑hour Nursery provision. Attendance is above national averages, and pupils tell us they love coming to school. Our staff, governors and parish partners work closely together to ensure that every child grows in confidence, character and faith.

We are delighted to share that a brand‑new, purpose‑built St Paul’s school is currently in development, and we hope to move into the new building in October 2026. This will provide state‑of‑the‑art learning spaces and even greater opportunities for our children and community.
