On Tuesday the 28th of April we were honoured to have Bishop Stephen come celebrate Mass with us. Bishop Stephen told us that being a Bishop is a great privilege to work with teachers and other Priests in the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle. The Church that Bishop Stephen grew up going to is St Austins, Stafford. Bishop Stephen is from the midlands and his favourite football team is West Bromwich Albion. Before he became a priest he felt a calling from God which is what led him to be ordained a Priest. Bishop Stephen's favourite food is Italian food such as pizza and pasta. When we celebrated mass together a few children from each class got to lead a reading for example the bidding prayers and the first reading and the second reading.
