Year 5 pupils from St Paul's Catholic Primary School in Newton Aycliffe enjoyed a fantastic day of sport and teamwork at the Tag Rugby Festival held at Bede College and organised by the Stockton Schools' Sport Partnership.
The festival gave children the opportunity to develop their rugby skills, take part in friendly competition and represent their school with pride.
Teamwork and Determination on Display
Throughout the event, pupils demonstrated excellent teamwork, supporting one another and working together to overcome challenges on the rugby field.
Their determination and positive attitude were evident in every activity, helping them build confidence while developing their understanding of the game.
Growing Skills Through Sport
The festival allowed children to strengthen their tag rugby skills in a fun and encouraging environment, while learning the importance of communication, cooperation and resilience.
Competing alongside pupils from other schools also provided valuable opportunities to make new connections and enjoy the spirit of healthy competition.
Outstanding Ambassadors for St Paul's
Staff were incredibly proud of the way the children represented St Paul's Catholic Primary School throughout the event.
Their sportsmanship, enthusiasm and exemplary behaviour reflected the values that are at the heart of the school community and made them a credit to the school.
