Young Entrepreneurs Make a Lasting Impact
St Paul’s Catholic Primary School in Billingham is celebrating the success of its Year 6 Enterprise Project, which has come to an end with an incredible achievement.
Through hard work, creativity, teamwork and determination, the pupils created and ran their own mini businesses, generating an impressive £900.02 profit.
Putting Faith into Action
While raising money was an outstanding achievement, the children’s greatest success was deciding how to use their profits.
Reflecting the school's values and putting their faith into action, the pupils chose to donate part of the money to Alopecia UK, Tourettes Action and Cancer Research UK. These charities were selected because of their connections to people within the school community, demonstrating the children’s compassion and understanding of the needs of others.
The remaining funds will help create special memories as the pupils celebrate the end of their primary school journey.
A Lesson in Compassion and Responsibility
The Enterprise Project has shown the children that they have the power to make a meaningful difference in the world.
Throughout the project, they demonstrated not only business skills and creativity but also generosity, responsibility and a maturity beyond their years. Their willingness to support important causes reflects the values that are central to life at St Paul’s.

As Year 6 prepare to move on to the next stage of their education, staff are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved.
They leave behind a legacy of kindness, ambition and community spirit, proving that success is measured not only by what we achieve for ourselves, but by what we do for others.
