At St Paul’s Catholic Primary School, we have been proudly celebrating the incredible milestone of Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday with a range of inspiring and creative activities.

Exploring Nature Through Creativity

Our pupils explored Sir David’s remarkable work through poetry, capturing the beauty and wonder of the natural world. Alongside this, they created stunning artwork using recycled materials, learning how creativity and sustainability can go hand in hand.

Learning to Care for Our Planet

Throughout the celebrations, children discovered more about the importance of protecting our environment, including keeping our oceans clean and safeguarding wildlife. These lessons helped pupils understand how small everyday actions can make a big difference to the world around us.

Honouring an Inspiring Life

To mark this special occasion, pupils designed thoughtful birthday cards and colourful posters, celebrating Sir David’s lifelong dedication to nature and conservation. Their work reflected not only creativity but also gratitude for the inspiration he continues to provide.

Inspiring the Next Generation

This has been a wonderful opportunity for pupils to learn about environmental responsibility, express their creativity and reflect on the impact one individual can have on the world.

A fantastic celebration of creativity, awareness and an extraordinary life — thank you, Sir David, for inspiring us all!
