A Day Filled With Movement and Smiles
Reception class from St Paul’s Catholic Primary School in Billingham had an energetic and exciting day at the Early Years Sports Festival hosted by Stockton Schools Sport Partnership. It was the perfect opportunity for pupils to get active, try new skills, and enjoy a fun‑filled morning of physical activity.
A Variety of Exciting Activities
The children took part in a brilliant range of workshops and games, including:
- Yoga
- Gymnastics
- Parachute games
- Throwing and catching activities
- Dance sessions
Each activity encouraged the children to move in different ways, build coordination, and develop confidence.
Enthusiasm, Energy, and Teamwork
Throughout the entire festival, Reception pupils showed fantastic enthusiasm and teamwork. They supported each other, listened carefully to instructions, and took on every challenge with big smiles on their faces.
A Wonderful Experience for All
It was a memorable day that helped the children build physical skills, friendships, and a love of being active. Everyone returned to St Paul’s Catholic Primary School in Billingham feeling proud, happy, and full of energy!
